Really? REALLY?? C’mon, wouldn’t you rather hold your baby while you’re feeding him? They are only babies for a really short amount of time.

Edit – those bottles also contain bisphenol A (BPA), which was just banned by the Canadian government and Walmart just pulled all bottles with BPA off of the shelves. BPA is linked to cancer and other health problems.

Most people don’t like using them because it takes mom and dad out of the feeding. It’s kind of like bottle propping and means that baby gets fed with out the physical bonding and contact from someone feeding them.

They do seem like they would be a life saver if you have to be in the car though.

i could see where they would be handy once and a while in the car, but otherwise it just seems like lazy parenting to me.

Oh, good grief, that looks like a contraption for a LAZY mother who doesn’t even want to be bothered holding her baby while she’s feeding him!!!!!!!

My sister had a few of them and she said they got too many air bubbles and would always give her baby bad gas. I havent personally used them though. I saw a baby at the mall with one and asked the mom if she liked it, she said yeah, but she couldnt use them when the baby was a newborn b/c it requires hard suction to get the liquid out.

I saw a mom on TV once with twins using one but I have not personally used one.

A friend of mine used one occasionally and really liked it. I never thought of her as being lazy, she used it if she had her meal in front of her and the baby was hungry at the same time. I tried it with my baby but he didn’t do very well with it. I think when they are a little older- like 6 months- or if you have other kids and you are driving to a lot of places they can be handy. We all know it is funnest to feed the baby yourself.

I have seen them in action; I do agree they would be convenient in special situations. But to answer your question, no.

I do wonder how it would balance out if your ****** feeding , just pondering.

Forgive my bluntness but whoever created that contraption was an idiot.

I have twins and this bottle has been a life saver. I have taken care of them on my own since they were 4 weeks old. Feeding them both at once was very difficult and very hard on my upper back which was not good to begin with. With the Podee I can hold one baby and have the other in the bouncy seat, then switch off after burping one. They can eat together and not have to stop just because the other baby needs to be burped. They are also great at restaurants as the whole family can eat together. If I had a single baby I would probably just use it for special occassions like going out to eat or if we really needed to be somewhere out of the house during feeding time. But for multiples this is a miracle. Started using it at 6 weeks and now my girls actually prefer it to other bottles. They like sitting up while they eat.
